Key to coatings, treatments and Lens Index:
Scratch Resistant
Most Kodak Lenses come with RLX Plus® as standard. No lenses are 100% scratch proof, but RLX Plus® is the world's most scratch resistant plastic lens surface, helping to protect your lenses and give you clear vision for longer.
CleAR
This anti-reflection coating virtually eliminates reflections from lenses which improves the vision through the lenses and the overall appearance of your glasses.
Clean'N'CleAR
The very latest anti-reflection coating combining all the great benefits of Kodak CleAR whilst also actively repelling dirt and water, making lenses up to 10 times easier to clean.
UVSun Polarised
Polarised lenses soften the effects of bright sunlight just like ordinary sun lenses, but they also virtually eliminate glare making your vision much clearer and more comfortable than with ordinary sun leses.
100% UV Block
Just as we use sunscreen to keep the sun's UV rays from harming our skin, UV treatment in lenses blocks those same rays from damaging our eyes. Invisible but invaluable protection for eyes.
Tinted
From pale or graduated fashion tints to true prescription sunglass protection, in blue, rose, green, grey and brown - the choice is yours.
Lens Index
You have a choice of materials for the lenses that you have been prescribed, and this will affect the thickness of the finished product and is described as the index. They range from 1.498 refractive index (the standard plastic lens) to 1.74 refractive index, the world's thinnest plastic lens material. As a rough guide the higher the index, the thinner the lens will be.
